As the name refers, you need chemicals to smoothen your hairs. We can’t say that it is a permanent solution, but it can last at least 12 to 15 weeks. It is expensive, and you need to visit a dermatologist every few months.

Home Remedies to Stop Hair Fall

Use Cold Water to Remove Frizz

The very first home remedy for smooth and healthy hair is the water temperature you use. Using cold water helps to get rid of frizz and makes your hair look silky. When you use shampoo and conditioner, rinse your hairs with cold water. Don’t go with scrunching your hair but use the patting technique. Before rinsing with water, you should try a conditioner with anti-frizz and straightening ingredients.

Rinse Hair with Vinegar

People use apple cider vinegar for years to treat different skin diseases and infections. Studies reveal that vinegar helps to maintain scalp health by keeping the pH balance. It will bring a shiny hair look that you have missed due to excessive use of hair products. Dilute the apple vinegar with water and rinse your hair after wash.

Hot Oil Treatment

Hair massage is a relaxing technique that helps to manage stress. Hot oil massage also makes your hair look shiny and silky but make sure you go with these massages once a week. You can use coconut oil, castor, rosemary, thyme, olive, and jojoba. Researchers also say that you need to mix these oils for better results.

Massage your scalp with this oil and apply it over all your hairs. Use a warm towel to wrap your hair and wait for 20 minutes. Use a quality shampoo to wash it off.

Don’t Use Heated Tools Too Much

Prolonged use of heated tools can damage your hair by creating bubbles in your hair cuticle. Such a condition leads to a hair break. You should use a heat protectant before using any heated tool like curling and flat irons, blow dryers, etc. When you use any heated tool, make sure that your hairs are not extremely wet and use the lowest heat.

Chemical Hair Smoothing

Thermal Reconditioning

Thermal reconditioning is known as Japanese straightening. It does not involve tight curls, but you can get a wavy hair look. A chemical solution is used to wash the hair to break the inner bond and reshape them. A neutralizer helps to get the desired smooth and silky hair look. This technique lasts for several weeks, but you need a regular visit every 5 to 6 months.

Brazilian Keratin Treatment

This technique includes the keratin solution, as its name refers. Such treatment helps to manage the hair frizz and volume. You can get a wavy hair look or tight curls that you like the most. No matter what type of hair you have, it suits every hair type.
