Even though smartphones are a constant element in life for many people, they may not be considered to be the most vital thing for many people. Of course, this is an opinion that very quickly changes when the battery in the mobile phone goes dead. It used to be that we had to agree to make plans because we had no way of contacting people once we or they were out and about. In recent times, there has been a reversion to this state of affairs because no one can be too confident that their mobile phone will remain charged for the duration that they are out. It is fantastic that modern smartphones are offering so many options and apps for people but the problem comes with the fact that all of these games and apps drain the battery very quickly. These apps helps us to have fun, to do more work or to find out where we are supposed to be going but there is a big problem in the fact that the batter runs out so quickly. There is also the fact that smartphone batteries and charger points are all different which makes it even harder to have your phone back to full power unless you remember to bring your own battery charger out with you, and this isn’t something that most people will be happy or comfortable with doing on a standard day or night out.

This is why impulse purchases are not always the best when it comes to looking out for your phone. If you are keen to get the most from your phone, you will have to make sure that you know your make and model or you may find that you make an expensive mistake. If the European Parliament does vote that every mobile phone firm has to start producing a universal phone charger, it will change the industry. It is likely going to be an excuse for all of the firms to place their prices up, stating the increased cost and excess stock of chargers that they are not supposed to sell any more. It is easy to see why many people will be cynical about this style of change but over time, it can only be hoped that a universal phone charger makes life a lot simpler for people. It can also be hoped that there are increased opportunities for people to charge their phones in more public places. There may not be a solution to the fact that smartphones come in all shapes and sizes but the days of having a variety of smartphone chargers in your house may be coming to an end.
